Bad Milo!

Heres a quick pencil sketch I took a picture of with my phone and put a little color on in photoshop over my lunch break. It's the title character from the movie Bad Milo! Streaming now on Netflix, I highly recommend :) Click on him to see him in all his glory

Sketchbook schtuff

So heres a bunch of sketchbook stuff, some new some old. I took a break from freelance to scan and color fix in photoshop them. Not much and nothing special but better than nothing I guess and I just finished a short animated film with Andy Novak with the voices of Space Ghost George Lowe and Illiana Douglas. We are submitting it to film festivals but hopefully I'll be able to post it soon.

Mr 2 Cheeseburger meal

Made this for a friend as part of an art swap. This art swap is wiping clean any prior occasions where gifts were not given. I asked him what he wanted the subject matter to be and he couldnt come up with anything so I suggested a sad clown. A favorite subject of mine. And this was the results. I must mention that he loves McDonalds and ordering a 2 cheeseburger meal even though it is not on the menu anymore.

White Fang

So here is a pretty quick sketch and photoshop color of White Fang. I recently downloaded an audiobook app and have been listening to books on the way home from work. A very nice way to spend 45 minutes. I really loved White Fang by Jack London. Its super awesome. Here is White Fang in his fighting days before he was rescued by the love master and had babies :)

Slow Friday gearing up for the holiday weekend so I decided to draw a few thunder gods arm wrasling. Thor or Raiden who do you think would win? A thunderbird, Tesla, and Picachu root them on. At least it's a post. Click on it to get a better look.

Gouache painting and Sketchbook pages

Hi Ho, Now that my weekends aren't completely filled with wedding stuff I have some time to draw and post some sketches. Here is a gouache painting 6x9 I did a couple months ago and a bunch of pages from my sketchbook. As you can probably tell some of these are inspired by our honeymoon in Tahiti. Hope to sketch and paint a lot more now that I have a little more time..we'll see how it goes :)
